Dillon is a Baton Rouge, LA native and graduate of Louisiana State University. Upon graduation Dillon commissioned as an officer in the Louisiana Army National Guard where he now serves as a Battalion Communications Officer. Dillon is currently deployed with his National Guard unit in support of Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Spartan Shield.
Outside of his current civilian career in the disaster recovery field he enjoys playing golf and writing. Dillon was the reason the Louisiana Chapter of Honor Flight came to be. He gathered the board together one night at Louisiana State University where all the board members are currently pursuing their Masters of Business Administration with an idea. Today, this idea is underway and will take its inaugural flight this year. Dillon’s goal in starting Honor Flight Louisiana was to honor his grandfather and to help Louisiana veterans fill their souls with a sense of honor and closure for their heroic and grateful service.
Jeffrey is originally from Centerville, OH where he resided until going to college at Bowling Green State University. After college Jeff commissioned as an officer in The United States Marine Corps. Jeff served as an Infantry Officer with deployments around the world, including but not limited to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Jeff is a father and a husband that enjoys spending time with his family and watching LSU baseball and football. Jeff retired from the Marines and is currently working in disaster management. Jeffery serves on the board of Honor Flight Louisiana to honor and recognize our veterans sacrifice.
Whitney is originally from Metairie, LA where he graduated high school, and continued his education at Auburn University. Upon graduation Whitney commissioned as an officer in The United States Marine Corps. In the Marine’s Whitney served 8 years as an Artillery Officer and Joint Tactical Air Controller with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Outside of his current civilian career as an Operations Manager, Whitney enjoys spending time with his wife and children. In serving on the board of Honor Flight Louisiana he hopes to be able to give ever veteran the opportunity to visit the monuments and memorials that this nation has dedicated to them.
Michael is originally from Fort Worth, TX where he dreamed of growing up and joining the military. After completing his undergraduate degree at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, OH he commissioned as an Army officer. While in the Army Michael served as an Artillery Officer working as a Fire Support Officer completing a deployment to Afghanistan.
While not working as a Mortgage Banker, Michael enjoys playing music and spending time outside with friends and family. Michael’s goal in serving on the board of Honor Flight Louisiana is to support our veterans and help them experience a once in a lifetime trip to their respective monuments and memorials.
Matthew is from Broussard, LA where, upon graduating high school, he attended The United States Military Academy at West Point. Upon graduation he served 8 years as an Armor Officer completing deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
When not working as a Health Care Project Manager, Matthew enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He also enjoys watching LSU football. In serving on the board of Honor Flight Louisiana Matthew hopes to be able to show his appreciation for the veterans who came before him.
